Archimedes' blessing.

On Sunday, August 7th, Andre was able to bless Archimedes. Almost my entire family was able to be there with the exception of Jackson, Scott, Traci, Jana and Dan. All of Andre's family was here except his brother Atrayu, and coincidentally, August 7th is Atrayu's birthday. He is in Japan on his mission so he had a good excuse, as did those who couldn't make it in my family. Anyway, it was a very good blessing, I thought. The only thing sort of scary that happened was that as we were walking into the church building, Andre's on call phone went off. Luckily it was a call that could wait for a little while, some one didn't have hot water for some reason, so he didnt' have to leave right away. He did leave as soon as the blessing was over and came back to sunday school and priesthood in his one piece work suit. What a funny guy. My mom even got some family pictures with me and Archimedes all dressed up and Andre in his worksuit. Brooke blessed her baby on the Friday before so lots of people were able to go to that too. Andre was on call all week so he wasn't able to go to Coeur D'Alene, but I went twice with the baby to see my family. I got a few pictures of the baby and Andre. My mom took a bunch more but I don't have those. After the blessing, my family had to head home for the LONG drive but Andre's family stayed for a while. We ate pulled pork at the park. While we were there, Archimedes had his first real belly laugh. He laughed for probably twenty seconds. It was an amazing sound. Its awesome how much joy such a little person can bring to me :) Anyway, here are some pictures.. enjoy :) ps. if you can't tell, I hadn't let Archimedes take his morning nap that morning. I wanted him to sleep through the blessing. He slept right until Andre stood up to take him to get blessed. The bishop said that Archimedes was just laying there staring up at his daddy the whole blessing. How cute :)
