and...

So. The box said it would look good. The box is a darned liar.
It was a two step process. Step one, put in the all over brown color.
Note: the box said brown, not bright red.
Step two, put in the red high lights
Note: the box said red, not orange.
Needless to say.. my hair looks like a 3 year old got a hold of some markers and found me innocently sleeping...
Heres the pictures, you be the judge.

Turkey Day!

So Andre and I had our own Thanksgiving Dinner today. It is our first thanksgiving since we got married and I decided to go all out and make a full dinner for the two of us. The amazing thing is I think we spent.. ten dollars maybe. We got a good deal on the turkey ($2.50 for 7 pounds) we already had the potatoes, I made stove top stuffing which was like.. 75 cents, and spent $1 on cranberry sauce. I was pretty proud of myself. I took some pictures :)

Like I said before.. Im pretty proud of myself. Everything was perfect except a slight gravy fiasco that I fixed. 10 points for me. Of course my amazing husband helped too.. notice the picture of him scrubbing dishes :)

So my husband shot a deer.

he was pretty excited about it.
On a more exciting note, my dog now weighs 30 pounds. And she is sitting on my lap as I type this.. Im sad that she wont be a lap dog much longer...

midweek trip

So a little while ago, my mother-in-law asked Andre and I to go to Boardman and give a presentation at a college fair for Andre's high school. So that was last Thursday. We went to Boardman Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and came home today (Saturday). It was a lot of fun. The college fair was fun, we didnt even actually give presentations, we just did like a.. question and answer thing for the Juniors and Seniors in high school. They asked all sorts of questions about college. It was fun. While I was there, I learned that there is a nursing program in Clarkston that I did not know about. It is just a associates program, which is what I want. I thought the closest one was in CDA. I guess this program is pretty easy to get into (I am already qualified as soon as I finish my CNA class). I applied to the school and have started talking to the nursing program so.. hopefully things will start happening soon :) Oh yes. I started my CNA class. It is just a 8 week class mostly online, class meets just once a week. I also have to do 40 clinical hours for the class, but I think it will be a lot of fun and a good experience. I am really excited about it.

theres a picture of our puppy in the back of the truck on the way to boardman. She was all curled up in the spare tire. She is a sweet dog. Shes pretty funny. The Corpus's have two dogs that she loves to play with. When we got home today, she was EXHAUSTED. She went to sleep the second we got home at 4 and hasnt barely moved.
Well. thats about it!

Pictures, WIndows 7, and stuff..

My Family came up to Coeur D Alene for Kaydra's baptism a little while ago and I took some pictures when we went to this... water park/bowling alley/mini golf... place.. It was pretty fun. I love hanging out with my nieces and nephews and was glad to get to spend some time with my family. On other notes, I just put Windows 7 Ultimate RC on my Acer Netbook and its amazing. I recommend windows 7 to anyone who is thinking about upgrading. Its XP meets Mac meets amazing. Dont get me wrong.. mac is still my favorite. But for a windows OS its not half bad.
Also, I got promoted to tech.. conditionally, meaning I have to do well or else I get demoted back to cashier.. It shouldnt be too hard tho.. I had the highest sales last week as a cashier, higher than any of the techs or managers. Not to brag but I was pretty proud of myself. So, now I just have to overcome the anger I feel when people call and ask for the tech department, hear a female voice, and immediatly think they have gotten the wrong department. How on earth could a girl know anything about technology. Its frustrating because if I dont know something, its because Im a girl and girls shouldnt be techs. If one of the other techs dont know something, its because well, techs cant know EVERYTHING right??
