So, for Valentine's Day, Andre told me he wanted to buy me a new pan. The pans I have came from a pretty nasty set that Ive had for 4 years and they are just.. nasty. Anyway, so weve been looking for a couple days for one that I like. I really wanted one that was cast iron, but cast iron is SO heavy. I couldn't decide if I really wanted to get the cast iron or one that was a little lighter. Anyway, we went and looked today and while we were looking, I had to go to the bathroom. When I got back, Andre had the pan picked out. In fact, he got me a pan and a dutch oven pot. I am sooo spoiled. They are amazing. Heavy, but amazing. Plus they look neat.
Here is a picture of the dutch oven:

Dont worry tho, Im not the only spoiled one. I found two world war one bayonetts at the second hand store here. Andre was really excited when he found out that I bought them for him.
And yes, we are horrible about keeping secrets, which is why we both have our Valentine's Day gifts three days before Valentine's Day.
Congrats Scottie and Traci on finding out its a boy! Im very excited for another nephew! And its neat that we finally have a boy to carry on the Fuller name.
Love those pans. I expect some good cooking when we come to visit. I don't think pans and bayonetts are on the traditional list of gifts to give for Valentines day!
ReplyDeleteWhat cool pans! I like the red too :) Happy Valentine's day you guys!
ReplyDeleteSweet! Yeah... we want to try some cooking from your new dutch oven too! :) And... we are the same way with gifts... it's hard to hold it in when you are together lots! :)
