new bed

so, today, Andre and I went to the Hope Center in Moscow to see if we could find a bed frame. Our bed has been sitting on the floor and I really wanted the room underneath for storage and I just really wanted our bedroom to look nicer. We have a queen size bed, but its pretty crappy, so we were debating on if we should buy a nice frame or a cheap frame and a nice bed or what we should do. So we decided we would buy a mattress pad and a pretty cheap frame. Anyway, we had seen one at the Hope Center that we liked and decided to go see if it was still there. They have a lot of furniture that they pretty much just give away. So it was there, and we talked them into giving it to us for $25 dollars (amazing really, its a really really nice frame) anyway, so we get it home and its HUGE. It would only fit one way in our room, which is really small anyway. So we go to put the mattress on it... guess what.. its a KING SIZE FRAME. So, we now have a queen size bed on a king size frame :) Good news is that people tend to sell old king mattress pretty cheap because no one wants to hang out to one. So now we get a new mattress AND and new frame :)
I actually found a King mattress for sale in CDA for only 85 dollars so.. were going to look into that. I didnt really want a King bed because they are so huge I feel like Im going to get lost in it ha. Anyway, here are some pictures of huge bed:) Also, I put on some pictures of the Gingerbread church that my mother in law and I made at Christmas time. Isnt it cute? We even had stained glass windows :) And, there is a picture from the Christmas card that Andre's family sent out. Enjoy!
