this week

This last week, I have done a whole bunch of sweet stuff. I had a week off of class and I got work off so I decided to go on a road trip or two. I went to Idaho Falls for a short trip friday saturday and sunday, then I left Monday for Boardman. It was Andre's 20th birthday so I went up and stayed there until thursday. It was a lot of fun. We had a really good dinner for his birthday and I gave him the sweet pocket watch that I bought for him for his birthday.Its supposed to be a vintage 1950s watch with original chain and everything. I got it engraved on the back in this little shield with his initials and on the inside of the back cover I engraved a line as well. Its a pretty sweet watch and he really seemed to like it. Theres the back before I got it engraved.
So then on tuesday, we went to the cattle auction. He didnt end up buying any cattle, but he did buy a black sheep for some reason. It was a pretty fun day, I only got a little crap flung on me. After we went to that auction he showed me his "herd" which consists of 3 cows.. I think 2 bull and one steer but I could be wrong. They are pretty sweet. One of them will come when his name is called, and he loves to be pet.
Wednesday was spent with Andre working on his dad's old tractor that had broken down. I sat with him while he worked on it for the most part but it got really hot so I didnt stick it out as long as he did. Then we went bowling with some people from his singles ward. On the way back from bowling his car broke down and his dad and brother had to bring us some water to get the rest of the way home.
Thursday I hung out with him for a little while then went back to Moscow. I was really sad to leave him. I really like his family and I love being out on his farm. My sister and her kids came to Moscow Thursday afternoon though which was also fun. We went to a park and ate KFC. The next day, we took the kids the the water park in Moscow. It was a really cheep park that was really fun for the kids.
Brooke and her kids left later that afternoon. Since I had until Tuesday before I had to work or start class again I decided to go to CDA with her. I came up last night and went to church with her today. I really am going to like having her up here. I missed being able to see any family members. Its nice to be only an hour and a half away from my sister.
