Lunch Break

So I put in my notice for my job. I quit on July 11th. After that, I get about 6 weeks to come home and hang out and do whatever. Im pretty excited.

On the last post, I forgot to tell a pretty sweet story. So one day when I was in Boardman, Andre and I went and did the music for Andre's little brother Arik's 7 and 8th grade dance. It was pretty fun, except all the kids only would dance when it was mexican music playing.. it was a little ridiculous. So in effort to get the kids up and moving, Andre decided to hold an Air Guitar contest. 1st place - 5 bucks and a "dance with his beautiful girlfriend"... Needless to say, I made the winner, 7th grade Jason, quite embarrased when he got to dance with me in front of all the other students. I was a little annoyed at Andre but it was pretty fun. He made it up to me by dancing with me on the next slow song. I thought that was a pretty sweet story and I didnt want to forget it.

Other than quitting my job, not a whole lot has been going on. Im doing my last summer class, and its a TON of work. I have to do a 18 week lesson plan, a one day in depth lesson plan, a bunch of reading, and an hour long group project, and thats only for the first 2 and a half weeks of the class. Its intense, but I think Im going to like being a teacher.

Well Im on my lunch break, and I gotta go back to work.
