So I know everyone says this about their child but.. I have to say it.. Aika is growing so fast! She is already a month old. She is a pretty good baby for the most part except for the 6 hours a day that she has to be held or she screams... but other than that she's good... She is a good eater and she already smiles all the time. Real smiles not "oh that's just gas" smiles. She smiles in response to voices, especially her mamma's. Archimedes has started getting used to having her around. At first, he threw temper tantrums every time I walked past him without picking him up. He is doing that less and less, except for the last few days because he's been sick. He thinks her pacifiers are super funny and like to put them in his mouth and then try to shove them in Aika's, especially when she is crying. He also loves to rock her when ever she is in her swing or in her carseat on the floor. He also loves to share all his toys with her. If I leave even for a second I'll come back and find a car or a book in her swing with her. I think he's going to be a pretty good big brother once he figures out what's going on. I've been having a hard time finding things to occupy him when I'm nursing Aika, but I found out the other day that he LOVES peaches. SO, I strip him down to his diaper, stick him in the high chair and give him a peach. He eats every single piece of meat off the pit and then plays with the pit for awhile. The 2 minutes of clean up is well worth the 20 minutes it takes him to eat it. Also, I can't believe I forgot the mention this... He is WALKING. I think today is the first day that he walked more than he crawled. Before today he would walk few steps and then get down and crawl. Today he walked most of the day. He picked it up really fast once he decided he wanted to do it. He tries to run, but hasn't quite gotten there yet. Its super cute to watch him. I'll have to get a video sometime soon. Anyway, here are a few pictures of these wonderful children:

ReplyDeleteHaha! We have the same exact pictures from Enoch eating peaches last year! We also did that with mango & Mango pits :) Haha, and I firmly believe that if your child is always a mess, you are doing it right :) Enoch is too, we take baths daily and sometimes more than once a day :) And I love the pictures of Aika! She is so lovely! I am glad the dress fits and you like it!! :) ♥ {OH! And YAY For walking! That is SUCH a nice step!}
