6 months and Halloween

Archimedes turned six months on Sunday. I can't believe he is getting so big! To celebrate his 6 month mark, he decided to start sitting up! He can totally do it on his own, but still falls once in awhile so I have to watch him close. Most of the time he would rather be sitting in my lap because I think he feels safer, but he is getting really good at it. He was pretty sick with some kind of a virus the last four or five days, one day he had a fever of 102 which seemed super high to me! He is doing a lot better now though, but Andre and I have some wicked sore throats so I am starting to understand what all his fussing was about.

We got to go to Coeur D'Alene and visit my sister and her family last weekend. It was a lot of fun and I was glad to be up there during the worst of Archimedes sickness so I had Brooke to help me deal with it. Andre went hunting..er hiking.. with Leonard. They had a good time but came back empty handed. While they were gone there was a deer right behind Brooke's house. I wish I would have had a tag, it would have been pretty funny if they would have come back from hunting and I had killed a deer without leaving the house :)

For Halloween, our ward did a chili cook off and trunk or treat. I bought a Monkey outfit from Old Navy for $2 and it was super cute.. I have some pictures:

He's also started eating some foods on his own, mostly just these crackers.. He loves them

This is a pretty amazing feat, not only is he sitting on his own, but he is sitting in his ginormous monkey outfit. Notice all the extra stuffing around the middle. He pretty much hated me for this. But he's cute right?

  2. Super cute! I wish we could have gotten pictures of Enoch & Archimedes together! Enoch also loved those surfboard snacks! I think they feel independent :) It's so nice to be able to give it to them and have then occupied for a bit too :) Happy November!
