august 5th, 2010

pretty much Ive done a lot of stuff since the last post. In July, Andre tried out for a semipro baseball team in Las Vegas. It was a fun trip. He did really well, but he wasn't fast enough to make it. It was pretty neat, there were about 300 boys trying out, Andre made it down to the last 50 or so before he got cut. It was a long day though, he was there from 630 am until 5 pm and it got up to 115 degrees!

After that, Andre went to help the high school at a football camp. He was gone for about four days and during that time, I went to Moscow and painted and made some shelves. I painted the kitchen (again), it is white and red and pretty much amazing. I also did a chalk board cupboard door. It turned out really good. I also painted the bathroom. I painted it a bright blue color. Its fun. And I painted most of the trim of the outside of the house. I did this all in about three days with the help of my fabulous friend, Alisha. It was fun and the house feels a lot more like "our" house, instead of the house we bought from some weird guy.

Speaking of buying houses, we received the title (not deed, because my house has brake lights) to our trailer. I was very excited. We actually own something. We still have to pay lot rent, but it is much cheaper than living in an apartment.

We have spent the last few days rearranging and cleaning the trailer. I like the new arrangement much better. We are getting a new table from my parents today, and I am so excited for it. It is a really pretty table and the chairs are SO much better than what we had before. I will have to post pictures once everything is all set up.

Ive just been looking for a job these last two weeks or so. Andre is getting ready to start school on the 23. Im going to work full time this year and start a nursing program the next fall. Hopefully we'll be able to save a decent amount of money with me working full time.

Anyway, I think thats about it. Ill post pictures soon!
