So we finally got a lawn mower and a vacuum. I opted to get a nice hand held vacuum instead of a crappy upright one. It'll work fine because we don't have much carpet in our house, and its a pretty beastly vacuum. And the lawnmower we got is an old fashioned push mower and it is also beastly and works great for our little lawn. Its nice because we dont have to worry about matinence or gas or anything like that.

The other day we were at applebees with some friends and a guy came around saying there was a kareokee contest. Andre decided to sing. It turned out he was one of the only people who wanted to sing, so he sang like 15 songs. He had a really good time and did a good job. Since he won for the night, he gets to go on and compete at a reginal competition in June. Only problem is that its at a bar. Its about a week after his 21st so he'd be able to get in, but I wont. He's not too sure he's going to do it, but first prize is $600 and he'd get to go onto another competition and get a shot at a record deal. I think he has a pretty good shot at the $600 or at least the second or third prize spot since I think there are only about 10 contestants. We shall see...
